2021 Christmas Trip to Dubai
Didn't have my usual kind of Christmas as got invited to spend Christmas in Dubai! A warm beach city with lots of touristy shit to do!.
As didnt wander into unchartered sketchy areas meeting & associating with local people! That usually did pre Covid!
That is totally different than my usual don't give a shit kind of trip overseas!
But wtf with The Covid
Pandemic had to change to have a safe Covid Trip!
But wtf still enjoyed my visit as did go a couple Bike rides & checked out the older Arabic areas! Which enjoyed as actually reminded me of the Arabic places checked out in Oman & Saudi Arabia when worked & lived there!
As these days of Covid appreciate & just glad got to travel, have good Health, caring Family & Friends! (tho may not get to see & hang out with them often) But my thought is Care & Love are not something we feel physically see or touch but feel!!)

Not saying I am into such decadent shit as Im really a being in nature camping in a tent, riding my bike making friends to hang out kind of guy! But wtf guess doesnt hurt when in Rome that may as well enjoy myself!
As hell my daughter was sweet enuf to invited us for Christmas cuz loves us & always proves it with her generous hospitality! Heck I can't afford living her life style so buy some groceries + treat her for breakfasts & lunchs! But don't pay for alcohol dinners as kind of gave up drinking but wud pay for drinks at a bar if went to one! Heck I believe in paying what can afford as dont like free loading but draw the line at paying for alcohol if I don't drink!
As always try to insure I enjoy myself knowing even if it isnt my tital enjoyment style when travelling! Wtf it may not be my kind travelling but I totally enjoy her company as she's always been more like a friend than my daughter! As we enjoy hanging out and we've even back packed thru Japan, Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam!
The area in Dubai that my daughter lives is called Palm Jumeirah which is a palm shaped island!

If U refer back to the image of the Palm Jumeirah well my daughter lives where the word Palm Jumeirah is shown on the map! Talk about decadent as usually cudnt be bothered with such places! But wtf if thats where my daughter, family member or a friend chooses to live! Well thats good for them as happy for them so I'd suck it up & enjoy myself!
Which I did without really trying bcuz of the awesome company i enjoyed! Plus what the hell even plan to return to Dubai within a year to go camping in the desert, myb bike there & myb take a nostagic trip back to Oman where I had lived & worked! As what the hell I loved that country & its people!
Yeah Covid may have changed my travel ways but wtf can still travel! As realize its not where U go but Ur own attitude & the people U'r visiting & hanging out with!👍
