The end of 2017 and what's happening in 2018 Plus some interesting article links
In the past few months I've been dealing with & tied up with different things as was unsure of what I was about to do!
But finally decided to return to Buenos Aires Argentina to finally get crowns added to the teeth implants that got inserted in B.A. maybe 7 years ago! Tho I spent a couple weeks trying to get a Brazilian Visa again! But fuck that country has to be the hardest country for a Canadian to get a visa! I heard that Canadian, Americans and Aussies are the only peep who need a visa to get in there! It's all politics as they are doing to us what our countries make their citizens do! LOL Hell a person has to go on their website to apply for a visa! But everyone I've spoken to admits the fucking site sucks even the Brazilians feel this way! I couldn't get on the site with my computer, tablet so I finally got on it with my cell phone! LOL As it wanted me to add a picture which was cool so I scanned my pic! But when I went to add it to my document it said the resolution didn't have enuf pixels!! LOL Also I wasn't able to print the form off to take to the Brazilian Consulate to get the Visa! So I went to the Consulate to ask a question but they went thru the lineup numbers so quickly! Hell I had number 21 and they were processing number 17 then the next thing I knew they were at number 23! So I went up to ask what happened to 18 - 22? The old dude at the counter said sit down and wait my turn even after telling him that my number 21 was bypassed! But I sat & waited but nothing changed so I said fuck it and left! Hell I'd really like to see Brazil but shit not going to get all stressed about getting a Visa! Shit I don't want to buy a ticket until I got my Visa first! Plus it's getting closer to Christmas so the prices are going up and flights were being filled!
My Brazilian friend Caio and his girlfriend Bea offered me a place to stay in Rio plus show me around Brazil! So felt bad when decided wasn't going to Brazil! But hell Life is too short plus heard it costs $250 for Canadians to get a Brazilian Visa! Hell my Life is about not getting stressed which is why I don't have a regular job as like to travel when can afford it! Hell I tried to get a Visa to Brazil a few years ago when I was travelling overland from Mexico to Argentina for 9 months! But they wanted to see my in and out bound ticket so told them I was going overland into Brazil by bus so the dude (think it's the same old dude) asked to see my bus ticket! Hell told him don't have it plus not sure what day I'm entering Brazil! So thought fuck it I'll get a visa on the road when get to Bolivia or Venezuela but never did cuz too much hassle! Hell I'll go to Brazil in my next Life! Insha'allah
So I got a ticket to Buenos Aires instead of Rio cuz hell my primary reason for heading back to southern South America was to go to the dentist I had in Buenos Aires anyways! Also partied too much on my last trip so missed seeing anything of Argentina, plus missed all of Chile & Uraguay! So going down to the bottom of the continent and see all of Chile & maybe the Salt Flats of Bolivia which missed b4! Also don't plan to party cuz not really into drinking as much these days as just costs money and wake up with a headache! Fuck don't need it as wud much rather get high on Life plus meet the locals and try to communicate with them than other travellers! LOL
Anyway with all the bureaucratic problems applying for a visa ahead of time! It got me thinking do I really want to go to Russia to do the Trans Siberian Railway next year! As sure the bureaucracy is twice as bad there as heard we need an invitation to go to Russia b4 applying! Also only wanted to go to China and Mongolia! Tho really only going to Russia and China cuz they're 2 major countries I haven't been to yet along with Brazil! Tho don't really care to visit Russia or China! As don't have a desire to visit them or US these days as those countries are fucked up as far as I'm concerned! Tho been to the US a hundred times plus worked and lived there! But really want to see Mongolia!so will go out of my way to get a visa to there next year! Also may try to get a visa for any of the Central Asian countries I can get a visa to visit! Insha'allah

Also in the past month I wanted to remember a great visit with an American friend who had just moved to Seattle but had to return here for 3 days! So couch surfed at my place for a few nights! Hell we are kinda similar as we both can be kinda mouthy! Cuz we say & do what we think so many peep think we're grumpy! But hell that's better than being overly polite & keeping others in the dark about what we think cuz they dont want to cause a scene! Like most peep here in Vancouver in our polite Society do! Heck I've known her for a few yrs as was here getting a Masters degree in a different country to home!
We always have good conversations cuz we say what we think! My friend told me she loved Vancouver unfortunately got tired of re applying for visas! So returned to US as bad as peep may think it is at least peep are honest! As she told me that peep in Vancouver go out of their way to be polite but most are a bit phoney & fakey!

My ex wife who I still love but can't live with had an aneurysm last summer! But an old school arrogant doctor at the hospital blew it off as minor so didn't diagnosis it early enuf! Which led to some long lasting issues plus almost killed her! As she ended up with high blood pressure and can't function as she did be! An example is she wants to fly to visit our daughter who lives there & do a trip thru the UK with her in the spring! But she is unsure if she can go until she gets checked by another doctor to get the green light!
