Well made it to Aug & summer with a lot of "Me Time" to reminisce on past memories & people met in my crazy life!
Heck this has been a strange crazy year with a lot of time to follow Covid-19 stories, sad Black Lives Matters & Indigenous Lives Matter events leading to various Protests & Demonstrations especially in the Meth Lab below us!

Wow read about a person who met randomly while staying in the same hostel/guesthouse in Budapest!
As one evening I met this cool interesting American! Tho we only met for a couple hours but we had an interesting conversation as we had a lot in common! As guess there was some thing that impressed us about each other! And now feel privileged to have met & know her!

What impressed me most was Maranie has often photographed Refugees in Camps!
As she's a humble person who is a growing person who is quick to read, invite feedback, and ask good questions. A humble person is at peace with themselves and others. Humility embraces contentment and simplicity. It doesn't need to have the nicest or be the best!
When I met Maranie & some other chicks somehow we become good friends! Even if only meet for a short time & never see each other again! Its not a physical or romantic attraction! But its just that once in a while we meet & just enjoy like minded chill peep! Who are compatible as have similar interests, a zest for adventure & living! As we feel so comfortable hanging out talking that a bond develops!
Heck some peep may think I'm a Player but I'm not! It's also not bragging or whatever as I'm a humble person! As often meet chicks who feel chilled when hanging out!

As got into a bit of shit in Addis Ababa so it became a night mare for me as experienced a real live "Tomyo escapes from Addids Ababa" that night! It's a long story that can myb tell u over a beer one day!
Anyway decided it was time to leave Dodge as got into too much trouble there as got boycotted from a few hotels! Ethiopia is fun & interesting but didn't care much for Addis Ababa as just another big African city! But met some real cool fun people that I value as good friends!
So often feel I just wanta live on the beach & .....
So when came upon the village of Wilderness on the Garden Route in South Africa! Hell I ended up hanging out there for 3-4 months & returned a couple times!
I ended up staying in a bed of the enclosed balcony which opened to the sea for myb 2 1/2 months when didn't say with a friend a night or two!

Heck if U get to Wilderness check it out! Its operated by a friendly lady Annie Van Rensburg & her family! As pretty well got to know the entire family in that time!
If U stop in there! Ask for Annie the owner & say Tom / Tomyo the Canadian says hi! She or someone (her son Daniel if around, myb another one of Annie's other boys or Leize who used to work for Annie) can myb direct U to Clifford the guy we called Caveman!
If U have time check out Kaaiman’s Grotto which is down some abandoned railway tracks! It is on the abandoned tracks running by the Beach House Backpackers Guesthouse!
The Caveman is Clifford an eccentric guy who started living in this abandoned cave! As he fixed it up & has different people stay for free as they help him out!
So if U go check out the Caveman be careful when walking on the railway track, part of it b4 the tunnel! When U exit the tunnel U see the Cave!

We had a different experience as my South African friend made friends with a White Gay Religious Christian Dude who lived in an abandoned cave!

Heck we'd walk down this abandoned railway track! Which had a landslide cover part of it plus walked through a tunnel for myb 1/4 a km! Plus there was a steep dangerous drop off the side to the ocean & was fairly windy!
As we'd often get invited to his cave for a braii of fish he caught! So we'd take some cuts of meat as S. Africans always do a braii with a mixed platter of say beef, pork, kebabs, sausages, fish, etc.
So we'd make a day of it as wud take a bottle of brandy for Clifford our Caveman friend as we'd often referred to him!
Cuz the dude loved his brandy & my friend wud join him tho liked beer! While I drank neither of them tho occasionally to be socialable I'd take a bottle of Captain Morgan's rum but needed bring some mix to drink it! Plus we'd smoke weed and chill!
Then often a couple of them wud hike down the steep cliff to go for a swim in the cold Indian ocean! But not being a big swimmer I'd hang around to smoke & chill!
But if my SA friend got too drunk I'd look after her as do for all my friends! Bcuz we really needed a flashlight/torch to walk back in the dark!
Hell a couple times thought my friend wud fall off the cliff so held on to her! Which is when I first noticed her hot temper as she felt I was being over protective!
But hell even if I'm functionally stoned & partially shit faced on rum! I'm always together enuf to look after my friends! As hell enjoy a great time cuz hell never got really shit faced drunk since was a teenager!
As never get kinda falling down shit faced drunk/stoned & forget my friends! Cuz that's the reason why don't like drinking now, along with myb barfing & waking up with a hangover are why hardly ever drink!
Plus dislike the person I become when drink so why prefer to mainly smoke weed (tho dont do that too much or often now) these days! Cuz realize that can get High on Life espec if in the company of a cool awesome person / friend!
While in Capetown met a guy who for some reason told me I reminded him of the lead singer of this musical group (which he loved) tho why I dont know as don't sing!

Also this is interesting! As used to kinda hang out at 3rd Beach as its a great place to chill after riding my bike thru Stanley Park to get there! I have a cool little djembe drum that take there! But then I'm either too shy or not stoned enuf to play with the more expert drummers!
Anyway during this Pandemic I wudn't head to the Drum Circle or Party! As don't want to help spread the virus as respect the Medical peep who risk their own health to work on the front lines to help Covid patients!
